It is with a profound sense of purpose and gratitude that I announce I will be transitioning from CTO to CEO of ScanCAD International, effective January 1, 2026.
This moment is not a sudden shift, but rather the fruition of over eight years of methodical succession planning. It is the natural next step in our shared vision for the company’s longevity. I am also deeply pleased to share that Bill Loving is not saying goodbye. Instead, he will be shifting his focus to a higher-level strategic capacity as Founder & Chairman. For the next few years, we will continue to be guided by the wisdom of the man who has shepherded this company for 35 years.
Bill is one of those rare leaders who brings a larger-than-life energy, laughter, and joy to everything he does. His stewardship has been defined by this warmth as much as by his nimble spirit and the courage to pivot—allowing our technology and our identity to reinvent itself whenever the moment called for it. He has steered us through the shifting tides of the global economy, through boom times and bust cycles, laying a foundation of both resilience and humanity that I am humbled to build upon.
To our vibrant community of customers, distributors, representatives, and friends: you are far more than business contacts; you are our extended family. The relationships we have cultivated over the years are the heartbeat of this organization.
My commitment to you is simple: We will continue to honor these connections by delivering the top-notch solutions, services, and support you have come to rely on. We will continue to innovate and grow in this rapidly and changing era. And, just as importantly, we will do so in the spirit in which ScanCAD has operated these past decades – one of joy, connection, integrity, and curiosity.
