What is unique about you, what you do and how you connect with our clients?
We are unique because:
We have a dynamic interaction between the industry and the local Academy.
We have developed a relationship with the customers beyond a business relationship, creating a strong friendship network.
We connect our customers through different ways, we have a directory of more of 300 SMT companies in Mexico and more of 2,500 contacts, so, we have access to them by phone, e-mails, direct sales calls, massive e-mails, media promotions.
·We are active members of the SMTA Juarez Chapter, what give us more exposition and relationship with Customers.
Tell us about your years of experience and background.
Jose Luis and I have 75 years combined in the manufacturing industry and 30 years combined in the sales business. Both of us have Industrial Engineering degrees, which makes it much easier understand the customers’ necessities and offer solutions.
What is unique about your business? What sets you apart?
We conduct our business relationship with integrity and honesty.
We are a multicultural company, through the many years in the manufacturing and sales businesses, we have learned to know and follow the customs and habits of the different Principals and Customers we deal with.
We cover all main SMT Territories in Mexico.
We know the industry and their necessities.
We know the other Sales Representative Companies, we have a great and respectful relationship.
Technical Knowledge about the processes as well of the equipment, tools, products and services we sell.
We constantly compare the pros and constrains about what we sell and what the competitors offer.
Share a bit about your team members and the territory in which you work.
We have an active coverage in all Mexico, having a strong sales team Juarez, Chihuahua City, Reynosa, Matamoros, Monterrey, Centro Mexico and Baja.

We have worked for ScanCAD for almost 10 years, since that time, we have seen its growing and development during all this time.
We are impressed the way how Bill, Jeff and Travis conduct the company, keeping a great and healthy business environment, this inspire us to transmit this business spirit to our customers.
ScanCAD offers unique inspection solutions, going beyond what the customers expect of an inspection system.
Customers are very satisfied with the ScanCAD systems, its reliability and accuracy, we have experienced this specially with the Stencil Manufacturers.
A look ahead: hopes for 2021 and beyond
Generally speaking, the SMT industry is growing up in Mexico, in part for the current commerce fight between USA and China, but also, because of the great experience and capabilities that the SMT assembly Companies in Mexico have reached.
Jose Luis and me, as a Members of the SMTA Juarez Chapter, are working very hard to build the foundations with five local Technical and Universities institutions to bring SMT topics, Special courses for Technicians and Junior Engineers, SMT Process Certification thru SMTA for Senior Engineers, two SMT labs and a Manual Soldering, Rework and Failure Analysis Training Center.
These are the current results:
o Currently the UACJ has three semesters teaching “Fundaments od SMT” subject,
o We are in the process to equip the Soldering Center,
o We expect by 2022 that all five Educational Institutions be teaching SMT topics.
How has the pandemic informed and shaped your approach to business?
The Pandemic forced us to look other ways to approach the customers, first one, respecting and care the value of the life for us and for others.
We identified and kept the contact with those companies that were allowed to be open.
Due to the contacts we know in those companies, we kept them in the radar, finding great opportunities for the different lines we represent.
We were asked to follow their own safety protocols to get their permission to visit them.
The transferring of SMT business to Mexico happened during the Pandemic time, so, we had to be careful to visit the customers but also, to take care to avoid any contagion situation.
