Tell us about your years of experience and background.
I have put total in about 15 years of experience working for initially on Technical support & recently on sales for Electro Optical machines & associated software used in PCB and PCB Assembly Industry. Be it ScanCAD products or Orbotech’s CAM software, Automatic Optical Inspection system, Digital Legend printers, Laser Direct Imaging system or for Hybrid Micro Electronic- Laser Resit trimmer or Laser cutter/ Scribers etc. to name some. Our company is considered as best on Technical support in India PCB Industry.

Key USP of our business and our company success is we are very customer oriented and biggest strength recognized by our customer is our Techncasal & application support, which is rare in India from other competitors.

Ltd., established in 1999, is a professional company with prime objective to offer comprehensive solutions to Bare PCB & PCB Assembly Industry with total customer orientation. SCBISPL is known for its inherent Management & technical strengths, promoted by experienced hands on professionals supported by well qualified, well trained & experienced team of Engineers who provide professional sales & post sales technical support for production, testing & inspection equipment maintaining highest level of customer satisfaction.
Share a ScanCAD story
Our first sale in India was quite challenging & interesting. We sold ScanINSPECT VPI to C-Dot. First time when we approached C-Dot and introduce our system, they all were surprised and not willing to believe that just an inverted scanner can do all that what we claim; they were expecting a very complicated system for 4 IN one system that includes INSPECTION OF STENCILS, BARE PCB, AND ASSEMBLED PCB AND CREATING PROGRAMS FOR PICK & PLACE MACHINE, CREATING VISION FILES FOR PLACEMENT MACHINE LIBRARY. They cannot imagine so many diverse tasks being accomplished by a simple high resolution Scanner with software support. We made the presentation and after lot of discussions, debate and persuasion, they order first system. And later it be become benchmark & reference for several Indian customers like Space Application Centre, Bharath Electronics Limited and Stryker.
A look ahead: hopes for 2021 and beyond
Well with lot of emphasis on SELF RELANT INDIA by present dispensation & Prime Minister and Digital India dream, we forsee a lot of investment in India especially in Electronics sector & Artificial Intelligence based systems. We see promising great future for our business and for ScanCAD too.
How has the pandemic informed and shaped your approach to business?
It will take some more time before we understand the full impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. But the history of such shocks tells us two things. First, even in severe economic downturns and recessions, some companies are able to gain advantage. The Covid-19 pandemic has severely disrupted global consumption, forcing people to unlearn old habits and adopt new ones.
Companies seeking to emerge from the crisis in a stronger position must develop a systematic understanding of changing habits – Work from home, rely more online video meetings for marketing and sales promotion; More communicative via emails, social media. Make Covid protocol as part of habit like wearing mask, social distancing etc. In brief work, relax and be entertained at home. Think innovatively to sustain or enhance business.
