Support of Sarah Braden, the Peace Corps and a small village in Mozambique.

Showing up to be a positive presence in the world is what inspires and drives our ScanCAD team and company. We bring this passion and hope not only through our mission and direct product offering, but also in the support of other individuals and organizations aligned in the goal of ultimately co-creating a better tomorrow. It is our belief that any action firmly rooted in the desire to make a positive difference — large or small — can create a powerful ripple outward.
ScanCAD has been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to contribute to the financial support of Sarah Braden in the Peace Corps for the last three years — offering financial backing to the people and projects with whom she is directly working. An inspiration of service and altruism, Sarah joined the Peace Corps and moved to a small village in Mozambique. ScanCAD was able to partner with Sarah and offer financial support to help a family build a new home (a sturdy concrete house to replace their stick and grass hut), as well as supply a small dress business (Stela’s) with the capital they need to produce more products, advertise and grow. Both of these projects have not only helped the people directly linked, but also the greater community.
Our contribution in support of Sarah Braden is an example of how our company wishes to give back in the global community by focusing in areas where a micro contribution can provide a mega result. As with all of our charitable donations, 100% of this donation made it to the end result; nothing was lost in the process.
