HEADLINE: Tetrahive Technologies and ScanCAD International unite on the Phase II Small Business Innovation Research Contract (SBIR)
DATE: March 8, 2021
DENVER, COLORADO, USA — Tetrahive Technologies and ScanCAD International have been selected by the US Air Force to continue developing capabilities for non-destructive and semi-automated reverse engineering (NDE) of electronics. The Phase II Small Business Innovation Research contract is a follow-on to the Phase I feasibility effort completed in 2019 which demonstrated concept feasibility and developed novel analysis techniques to overcome long-standing technical hurdles in this area. Phase II will focus on utilizing Phase I R&D to yield a functional prototype system/process.
As a recognized global leader in PCB imaging, inspection, and most importantly — legacy re-engineering, ScanCAD strongly supports any work that advances the state-of-the-art in this area. Having a 30-year track record of PCB re-engineering success with ScanCAD systems installed at facilities around the world including the United States Air Force, Army, Navy, Department of Energy, NASA, National Security Agency, and US National Labs, we know that the key to success is providing our clients with the best technology available. We are excited about the opportunity to continue working with Tetrahive to further expand state-of-the-art XRT re-engineering capabilities and add innovative NDE-based modeling as offerings to our existing client-base.
