Global Software Sales Manager

ScanCAD International Location: Conifer, CO

The Opportunity

We are seeking a results-oriented Software Sales Manager to drive sustainable growth in a highly technical and rapidly evolving market. This role is for a self-starting growth driver who excels at developing a global sales network, creatively solving customer problems, and turning market complexity into a competitive advantage. You will be the engine of our sales efforts, directly shaping the future of our company.

Key Responsibilities

As our Software Sales Manager, you will own the entire sales lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include:

Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Manage all quoting processes, develop proposals, and maintain price lists.
  • Regularly analyze and update product offerings and pricing to remain competitive.
  • Track and manage hot lead lists, sales funnels, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Respond to formal tenders and requests for proposals (RFPs).

Global Channel Management

  • Manage, support, and expand our global sales network of representatives, distributors, and OEM partners.
  • Equip our sales network with comprehensive training, updated sales materials, and technical assistance.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with third-party vendors to address customer inquiries and register leads.
  • Manage channel partner relationships, including shared commission structures.

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Conduct compelling live and online product demonstrations to showcase the value of ScanCAD solutions.
  • Collaborate with our engineering team for high-level technical demonstrations using customer-specific parts.
  • Identify customer needs and architect robust solutions that solve their unique challenges.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product improvements and inspire new applications.
  • Maintain responsive, timely, and professional communication with all customers and prospects.

Marketing & Operational Collaboration

  • Create and update sales collateral, including datasheets, presentations, and technical documents.
  • Represent ScanCAD at industry tradeshows, generate leads, and conduct prompt follow-up.
  • Manage all leads within our CRM (Zoho), ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and services teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sale to fulfillment.
  • Work with customer procurement teams to establish ScanCAD as an approved vendor and negotiate terms.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales.
  • Experience in sales management within the electronics or a related high-tech industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret project specifications and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, a CRM platform, and leading AI models
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
  • Valid driver’s license and Passport
  • Desire to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of sales experience in the electronics industry.
  • Proficiency with ZohoCRM.

What We Offer

  • Compensation: The target pay range for this position is between $110,000 – $180,000 USD, consisting of a $60,000 base salary and a generous commission structure designed to incentivize active sales performance. The final offer may vary based on candidate experience, skills, and qualifications.
